Privacy: your images never leave your browser
This site has no server that handles your files. The crop, resize and compression all run on your device.
What happens to your image
When you drop an image, the browser reads it locally, draws the cropped square, resizes it and encodes the result as a PNG or GIF. The file is never sent over the network, and nothing is stored once you close or reload the tab.
What this site does not do
- It does not upload, store or log your images or file names.
- It has no accounts and no database.
- The converter never sends your image or its file name over the network.
How you can check
Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and convert an image. You will see no request carrying your file.
The site is hosted on a static content delivery network, which, like any web host, may record standard technical request data such as IP address and requested page. That data concerns page visits, never your images.
