About Slack Emoji Converter

A small, free tool with one job: turn any image into a custom emoji Slack will accept, without accounts, uploads or fuss.

What it does

You drop an image, choose a square crop, and download a 128 × 128 PNG, or an animated GIF if you started from one, under Slack’s 128 KB limit. It accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP and GIF files up to 10 MB and keeps transparency and animation.

Why it exists

Getting an image to Slack’s exact size and weight usually means opening an image editor. This converter makes it a ten-second job, and because it runs entirely in your browser, you can use it with internal logos and team photos without sending them anywhere. See the privacy page.

Not affiliated with Slack

Slack Emoji Converter is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Slack Technologies or Salesforce. Slack is a trademark of its owner and is mentioned only to describe the format the tool produces.
